Welcome to Glim! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Glim mobile application ("App") operated by Glimmex, Inc. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Glim is a mobile application for iOS and Android designed to enhance note-taking and social collaboration. Users can create spaces for personal or group use to share notes, photos, links, and more—with customizable visibility and interaction options.
2. Free and Paid Features
The App offers both free and premium features. Free access includes limited functionality, while premium features are available via in-app purchases ("IAPs"). All IAPs are final and non-refundable.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to register. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any activity under your account.
4. User Conduct and Content
You agree not to upload, share, or create content within Glim that:
Is illegal, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or abusive
Contains malware or disrupts app functionality
Encourages violence or violates applicable laws
Glim reserves the right to remove content or suspend users for violations.
5. Permissions and Spaces
Each space has adjustable permissions managed by its creator, defining who can view, comment, or edit content.
6. Data Security
All user data is encrypted in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Communications and Email Consent
By signing up, you agree to receive emails from Glim about:
New features and app updates
Invitations to give feedback or participate in testing
Community news and relevant promotions
You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email.
8. Data Processing & Privacy
Use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using Glim, you consent to the collection and processing of your data in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and LFPDPPP.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice or liability, for any breach of these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
